Starting prices below, every line item further down. After your pet's exam you get a written estimate for anything we recommend. You sign it, we do it, and that's the bill.
Prices are for Montclair as of this year. Larger dogs and more involved cases are priced after an exam, never after the fact.

Wellness and vaccines
A yearly exam, the vaccines your pet actually needs, and parasite prevention.
We vaccinate by lifestyle, not by list. A cat who never leaves the apartment doesn't get the same schedule as a dog who goes to daycare, and we'll say which shots you can skip.

Sick visits, same day
We hold sick slots open every weekday. Call by 3 pm and we'll see you today.
Vomiting, limping, not eating, the ear that smells wrong. You get an exam, a straight explanation of what we think is going on, and an estimate for anything beyond the exam before we go further.

Dental
A proper cleaning under anesthesia, with x-rays, so we treat what's under the gum line.
Most dental pain in dogs and cats is invisible without x-rays, so we take them every time. If we find a tooth that needs to come out, we call you from the table with the cost before we do it.

Routine surgery in our own suite, with a technician monitoring anesthesia the whole time.
Larger dogs and more involved procedures are priced after an exam, and the estimate you sign is the bill you get. Your pet goes home the same day, and we call the next morning.

Diagnostics
Bloodwork, digital x-ray and ultrasound in-house, most results the same day.
Having the lab and imaging in the building means you usually leave with an answer, not a referral. When something does need a specialist, we say so and make the call for you.

Senior care
Twice-yearly checks for pets over seven, built around comfort and catching things early.
Old dogs and cats hide a lot. Kidney values, thyroid, blood pressure, sore joints: we check the things that change quietly, and we adjust pain plans as often as they need it.

End-of-life care
A quiet room, as much time as you need, and no rush.
We'll talk through quality-of-life honestly before you're ever facing this decision. When the time comes, you can be in the room or not, and we handle everything after.
